I’ve been doing canicross with Lotie for 4 years now, we’ve already done canivtt solo or in duo with my dad’s dog.
Kylie is just starting canicross, but after doing an animal communication with her, it seems that she wants to try Canivtt. We are going to set this up this winter.
We have participated in many canicrosses, including the full mountain trophy in 2017. Not necessarily results, hard to compete with a small 10kg featherweight. But that’s not the most important result. We enjoy running together, that’s what makes us happy. Kylie will do her first canicross race next year if she feels like it. The number of training sessions per week varies, I also do triathlons and trail running, so it depends on my sporting schedule. I would say 1-2 sessions/week for Lotie and 1 session/week for Kylie.
Our favourite place to run is obviously the undergrowth, where the paths are very narrow.

Once they started, Lotie got out of her harness and ran to catch them! Fortunately, she turned around when she saw that I wasn’t following…
